About AdvCash
AdvCash is located in Central-American Belize and was launched in 2014. The identity of the owners remains a mystery as there is not much information available about them. All they let us know is that the company has staff with 20+ years of experience in international finance and electronic payments. AdvCash is owned by Wave Crest Holdings Limited, a payment provider incorporated in Gibraltar.
The company also posted two licenses on their website proving that their activities are authorized by the International Financial Services Commission of Belize. The licenses are for international money transmitting and payment processing.
The service offers more than 20 different ways to replenish a virtual wallet, which effectively replaces the physical one in the online and mobile environment.
Advcash supports transfers in both fiat (national) currencies and cryptocurrencies. The last option to withdraw funds involves transferring money to cryptocurrencies without commission at the internal rate of the service.

Provided services and available countries
The core idea of AdvCash is to ease the payroll problems of those who work as freelancers with their e-wallets connected to plastic and virtual debit cards that are backed by bitcoins. AdvCash cards are accepted at merchants and ATMs that accept Mastercard and VISA. Besides the usual three major currencies (USD, EUR, and GBP), AdvCash also offers an account in RUB that is opening the bitcoin debit card market to Russia.
Although the website only lists 50 countries that are excluded from the services, digging a bit deeper it turns out that there are even more countries, including the United States ,where they do not ship the bitcoin debit cards to. Countries in Africa and in the Middle-East are on the list of countries that are explicitly excluded from the service along with Venezuela.
However, many users live in countries where they do not know if this service is available, so AdvCash’s official website listed all the unavailable countries as well. If you are currently a resident of one of these countries, you can’t use the AdvCash service.
The payment system offers a referral program with favorable conditions. Earnings can be received from any paid referral transaction, up to 20% of earnings. You can also accept bulk payments using the Merchant API technology. Merchant API lets your applications use all the features of Advanced Cash, automate sending and receiving payments, obtain transaction history data, search for transactions, and more. The service provides instructions for connecting the API.

Limits and verification
Most of AdvCash’s services require ID verification. Unverified users are only able to deposit and send cryptos within the AdvCash system, hence from other AdvCash users. Card orders require verification, as well as bank transfers and all other functions of the FinTech company.
Cards by AdvCash are valid for 3 years and customers can load up to €/$5,000 per day.
It should be noted that the verification process takes up to 24 hours to be completed, although the documents you send are instantly reviewed by the AdvCash work team.
Fees and Pricing Schedule
Unlike many bitcoin debit card providers, AdvCash does not charge any monthly or annual fee for using its services. The AdvCash plastic card costs €/$19.95 plastic, the virtual one only €/$9.95.
Deposit Fees
Account top ups come with different fees, depending on the chosen transfer method: SEPA transfers cost €1 per transaction, while Visa or Mastercard top ups cost 3.5% of your deposit. Stablecoin deposits cost a fixed fee of $1 per load, other cryptocurrency deposits are charged according to AdvCash’s internal exchange rate.
Withdrawal Fees
SEPA withdrawals are more expensive than top ups, as here you have to pay €5 + an extra 0.5% of your withdrawal amount. In the case of stablecoins you have to pay 0.5% + the respective network fee. Withdrawals to cards depend on the currency. In this case USD withdrawals cost 3.5% (min. $5) and EUR withdrawals cost 2.5% (min. €5). For cryptocurrency withdrawals again the internal exchange rate applies.
Funding the account from alternative payment providers costs between 0.95% and 4.25% depending on the source of the funds. Money arriving to the E-Wallet costs 0.95% from OKPay, eCoin, and EPESE, while the funds from Payeer cost 4.25%.
All prices in the pricing schedule are equal to the amount expressed in USD and EUR. Withdrawing money from domestic ATMs has a flat rate of 1.99 USD. International ATMs cost an extra 1 dollar (2.99USD) and AdvCash also charges a 2.95% FX fee from currency translations, which is just slightly below the average 3% rate on the market.
If users may decide to withdraw funds from the card other than in the form of cash or purchases then each time 0.99 USD is charged just like at funding the card from the E-Wallet.
AdvCash User Experience
AdvCash.com has many nicely designed cartoon styled diagrams explaining the service that is useful for bitcoin rookies. Although the website is nicely built it is missing some crucial information that expert eyes may seek. For example the ownership credentials are not listed on the page and there is also confusion on which countries do they offer services to.
It is not a surprise that the platform is also available in Russia, since RUB is one of the acceptable base currencies for the AdvCash bitcoin debit card.
After login, AdvCash services can be reached from a handy dashboard where everything is just 1-2 clicks away. Unfortunately at this point, there isn’t a smartphone app available.
The site clearly shows the USD, EUR, GBP, RUB currency exchange rates live as well as the bitcoin price. The BTCUSD price is in a medium-range in spite of that the funding of the account is not charged that much. The table also shows if the currency pairs recently got weaker or stronger both with an arrow and the color (red or green) that makes it easier to follow the market.
Users may reach AdvCash beside their usual social media channels via email and a contact form submission for issues opened with ticket numbers. The FAQ is relatively detailed and has a search functionality but still does not provide the before-mentioned missing information. They also have a hotline open from 11 AM to 8 PM GMT to answer any queries. AdvCash responds directly to issues raised at bitcoin forums.
When checking the credibility of AdvCash, there are some scam reports and complaints about the AdvCash API and that users have not received their bitcoin debit cards within an acceptable time frame.
Pros:
- No monthly maintenance fee
- RUB as available currency
- free top up from SWIFT/SEPA transfers, flat rate for transfers
Cons:
- no apps available
- no information on ownership structure or executives
- daily limits on purchases for even verified users
Overall Conclusion
The AdvCash bitcoin debit card has a promising price structure with a zero monthly maintenance fee and a flat rate for transfers between the card and the E-Wallet. Besides the three major currencies, RUB is also available, which is probably a huge help for users in the Russian bitcoin market. Unfortunately, at the moment no mobile applications are available, although it seems that they are working on those. However the company website is missing the owner information, that along with the user complaints on the forum ruins the credibility of the company a bit.
By the number of clients, AdvCash is inferior to the top payment systems, but, given the set of strengths, it can be recommended to almost everyone. AdvCash is suitable for freelancers, Internet business owners, and those who just want to get a convenient card with a balance linked to an electronic wallet.
The experts predict a big future for this system, as the number of clients is growing day after day. This conclusion is quite logical because the service provides its users with a huge number of opportunities, as well as cares about their security at the highest level.
It is enough to talk with a person who has been using this EPS for quite a long time, and he will immediately advise you to register for this system. Concluding the review on the use of Advanced Cash, I would like to make some recommendations which are applied to all payment systems: be sure to set up a secure login, do not keep all your personal funds on one account, and be careful when entering passwords, never disclose them to unknown persons.
